Omega Industries launches RapidDry range of paint products

Last month REFACTURED was invited to Omega Industries in Riverstone, NSW. The family business has grown significantly since 2000, when new owner and current President Kan Sheety bought the paint business. Today the company has 200-250 project-based staff across locations in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Malaysia and Texas in the United States. Family values fuel the company culture yet a number of staff come from diverse backgrounds.

Omega has recently launched the RapidDry range of paint products in floor coating (FloorKote), pool coating (PoolKote) and road markings (Road Marking).

The RapidDry range of products are suited to home application all the way to large scale infrastructure projects. Onsite R&D has taken years to develop an improved epoxy coating that doesn’t smell, has faster drying time (to allow same day reapplication) and as well as extending the durability of the product.

Reporter Anne Dao met with Omega Industries Director Ash Shetty, Sales Director Brad Love and Technical Director Raj Velayutha.
